Cockpit Arts Friends and Family £30
Interested in what we do? Like to come to our special Open Studios for free and buy unique work from individual designer makers?
You might be a friend or family member of one of our makers or alumni and want to help support our work. Join as a Friend and get free access and special offers sent to you regularly.
Individual members only at this rate. Concessionary rate available £20 for those in full time education, over 60s, those under 18, or receiving low income benefits – proof required.

Join us as an Enthusiast and receive regular updates, invitations, and the knowledge that your contribution helps to sustain our vital work with designer-makers.Joint membership or Individual.

Cockpit Arts Collector £500
You love unique works and have a passion for the work we do at Cockpit Arts. You would like to spend time getting to know the designer-makers, and learning more about the creative process, with the opportunity to get a sneak preview and buy before the public.
Joint membership or Individual. Payments may be made in quarterly instalments if paying by Direct Debit.

- Chance to meet every new incoming designer-maker at unique quarterly 'meet the artist' sessions
- Enjoy Open Studios for free with your guests (6 invites per membership)

Cockpit Arts Patron £1000
You are, or would like to become, a true patron of the craft industries, by joining a group who make a real difference to designers working in contemporary craft.
Joint membership or Individual. Payments may be made in quarterly instalments if paying by Direct Debit.
Patron benefits
As above plus:
- The collective support of the Patrons contributes to a pool of funds enabling more designer-makers to benefit from Cockpit Arts awards, bursaries and other support initiatives
- Patrons will be invited to events to meet the Cockpit Arts team to discuss how funds will be spent
- Open Studios for free (8 invites per membership)
Your support gives one designer-maker the chance to start their Cockpit Arts career by giving a new award to a talented designer-maker who needs the support that a unique organisation like Cockpit Arts can give.
Cockpit Arts Investor £5,000
Investor benefits
As above plus:
- Your support contributes towards your own named award which helps to establish a new designer-maker in a Cockpit Arts studio for each year that you support – this can be named for you as the donor or given as a gift or a legacy eg The Smith Award
- You will be involved in proposing criteria for the Award and will sit on the selection panel
- Opportunity to grow a closer relationship with this designer-maker through regular updates, emails and studio visits – you can choose to continue to support this individual throughout their time at Cockpit Arts
