All studio holders at our incubators participate in our renowed Open Studios. These selling events take place in the Summer and at Christmas and attract over 11,000 customers each year. It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase and sell your work, and take individual commissions.
Those wishing to sell online can put their work forward for our CultureLabel online shop. What’s more, as a Cockpit Arts studio holder, there is no monthly fee and CultureLabel takes a reduced commission.
We are regularly featured in the media and we keep the spotlight on Cockpit Arts’ talent through topical campaigns. These include regular e-newsletters to 18,000+ subscribers as well as social networking and an online designer-maker directory.
Getting a studio at Cockpit Arts is by application. Studio holders have exclusive rights to use our Makers Mark on their website. This special ‘seal’ highlights that work is of Cockpit Arts standard: Quality Craftsmanship and Design Excellence.
Profile Raising Events
We are partners for London Craft Week and London Design Festival and past high profile projects have included showcases at Collect, site specific installations and dedicated campaigns such as Maker Difference, The Cockpit Trail and Made in London, Loved Worldwide.
Tours & Selling
We regularly run events for Cockpit Arts Supporters and other VIPs and offer a tour service for trade buyers, media, collectors and craft enthusiasts. Recent projects with retailers include ‘Created at Cockpit’ at the Southbank Centre shops, ‘Made in London’ at the ORNC Shop, Heal’s Christmas Picks, Liberty Picks and Fortnum & Mason tours.
