Francisca’s distinctive pieces fuse the artistic disciplines of craft and design, applying traditional techniques to modern materials such as stainless steel and Perspex.
The inspiration behind the ‘Asterisk Bookend’ was to create a playful statement about typography by transferring the asterisk symbol usually found inside a book to the outside.
